the “Communicator Award" in 1999 for an interview with
the former Boston Celtic great and Basketball Hall of Famer, Bill
Russell. In the year 2000, he again won the same award for his
1999  “Major
League Baseball” Hall of Fame induction weekend radio show,
featuring interviews with Hall of Fame greats, Yogi Berra, George
Kell, Harmon Killebrew and 1999 Hall of Fame inductees from the
Kansas City Royals; George Brett and Milwaukee Brewers; Robin
Yount.
